Although its true Avril has made a few mistakes when dealing with the paparazzi, almost all the other stuff people have been saying that Avril has been dissing fellow artists like Britney and Hilary Duff is 99% untrue. Avril has stated in many articles that she was misquoted over and over but you seldom hear those statements because that is just boring to report on. But you can find pictures on the Internet of Avril hanging out with or partying with both Britney and Hilary and the lawsuit thing has made Avril and easy target and there has been an overwhelming amount of made-up and false negative press about Avril, that say thing like she disrespect s he fans, etc. You just can't believe all of the negative stuff the press and blogs say about Avril. I have witnessed Avril sign autographs for fans for nearly two hours at the concert in Mexico. Yet the press said she was mean to her fans in Mexico, I was there and was really nice to her fans.
Here is what a friend said happened after a concert:
So after the show, my friend and I made it out back behind the venue where the artist usually come out. (I've been to this place a ton) We were the first people to show up and just wait against the fence. Since it wasn't a tour, there were no busses. Just transportation vans. 45 minutes past before I realized there was a crowd of about 50 people. It was cool. A few minutes later, out comes Avril headed towards the van. We all started screaming, trying to get her attention and it worked! Then she started making her way towards us. She started signing for everybody there. I got her to sign my ticket. She was super nice. This one girl brought her guitar to get signed. Then she asked Avril if she could sign it, she goes "Sure! That rocks!" She was chill about it. What I thought was cool was her body guard was all, "Hey we gotta go now" She replied with "Uh no wait. Did I sign for everybody?" A couple of girls replied with "No" so she proceeded to sign until she got every single person that was there. It was a cool experience. I got a change to ask when she's coming back. She said expect the tour to kick off early next year. Awesome!
I think Avril is the subject of a lot of undeserved negative press, and she is caught in this current trend of putting down celebrities because it sell better than the actual boring truth.
I just don't believe that Avril is someone who thinks she is better that anyone else, if she did why would she be so involved in donating some much of her time supporting charities and worthy causes like Make a wish foundation, Unicef, British-based children’s charity Amnesty International, HEART, Keep A Child, Alive, Make-A-Wish Foundation, MusiCares, Prince's Trust, Toy Mountain Campaign, US Campaign for Burma, YouthAIDS, etc.
Avril has stated that she believes it is her responsibility to support those who are in need and she knows that she has been blessed and that everything she has could be taken away in an instant. Avril has gone out her way to help others over and over but for whatever reason Blogs and the press just keep putting her down, it is kind of sad really that she has to keep trying to overcome the negativity in spite of the fact she has demonstrated over and over in actual deeds than how much she cares for he fellow citizen. But if you listen to all the press you would think she has never done anything good. It is just too bad that when someone works so hard done good things they just can’t catch a break.
Good I'm glad it worked for you! Every time I see her she is flipping off or spitting on people! And then the interview she gave of how nice she is to her employees for sharing her doughnuts with them, I guess that’s better then a half decent wage! Still don't like her!
Avril Lavigne Loves Her Fans

Sum 41 performed at the Intersection in Grand Rapids Michigan on Thursday night and a Best Celeb Gossip reader was able to meet up with Avril Lavigne at her unofficial post-concert birthday party.
Here’s what the reader said:
After the Sum 41 concert at The Intersection in Grand Rapids on Thursday, Avril had a small birthday party in the venue with her husband and his bandmates. We were eventually able to get her a message that some of her fans were waiting with gifts for her outside and she came right out. She was absolutely thrilled with the gifts we gave her and ended up talking to us for over 15 minutes until finally Deryck told her they had to go because the tour bus wanted to leave. We asked Avril and Deryck if we could get photos with them and they were absolutely happy to do it. So we all got individual photos with Avril and then the two people I was with took photos with Deryck, but just as I was about to take my photo with Deryck, Avril started asking me what I was studying in university so I missed getting one. Then, when he came back to say they had to leave Avril asked him to take a picture with me first because I had missed getting one before! By this time I had even forgotten that I hadn’t had a photo with Deryck, but she still remembered.
I guess you really don’t know what a star’s like in person until you actually meet them. It’s good to hear that Avril and Deryck are super down-to-earth and that they appreciate their fans.

This is called Damage Control for all the other Crap she does! She acts like a Bi#$ 5000 times then 1 good thing when her manger tells her she had better do or loose the few fans she has left! Guess it works you still like her!
