How can the legal jargon of this bail out not include a clear outline that the bailout money will not be used to pay bonuses to anyone? Bonus should be paid to producer not losers. AIG says that there retention contracts requires them to pay out retention bonuses...okay fine, how would you pay out these bonuses if your company did not receive the bailout money Furthermore, why would you want to retain someone that can't show a profit on your payroll? I say fire everyone in the company that receives a bonus based on company performance and this includes all of the executives. They are scheduled to pay out 165 million to 400 employees today (3/16/09) and another 55 million has already been paid to these employees. That is approximately $550,000 per employee just for bonuses. What the #*%# is going on? Who make these kind of executive decisions to pay out this money to a bunch of losers? Don't pay it and bail out your own company.
